Oregon Mahler Festival 2026 Rehearsal Schedule

Rehearsals and the performance are held at Rex Putnam High School (LOHS). See below for a map to the site.

In addition to the overall schedule listed below, Maestro Perlman will release a by-movement rehearsal schedule the individual pieces when we get close to the start of rehearsals..

It is our request that performers have not more than one rehearsal absence without prior arrangement.

We have sufficient music stands so musicians do not need to bring their own stands.

Reading sessions will be held on June 22 and 27, 2026. 

The reading sessions are optional, in that musicians may play in the Mahler 1st cycle who can't play in the readings.

But we encourage people to do the readings so we have enough players to make them go well.

Performer Donations: A suggested voluntary donation for each reading session is $20 for orchestra performers.

For the concert cycle the suggested donation is $80 for orchestra performers ($100 for both reading sessions and the concert cycle).

We will of course gratefully accept more from those who can and wish to donate more.

However, we welcome all who wish to play to play even if they cannot donate.
